The Realtor.com website allows frequent users to establish a login so that they can save searches and get e-mailed results from these searches. Generally, the website is pretty clean and user friendly. Searching for homes is right at eye level on the screen and is brightly colored. The other frequently used tools are below that and to the left is a list of all of the tools. There’s just one thing missing from the home page.

How to log in. There is no login form on the home page. No link to the login page, not even in the Enron Beezelbub typeface (hat tip: Footnoted) at the bottom of the screen. A shocking oversight from a professional website.

Maybe I’m just blind and can’t see it, but I have no way to login and find my saved searches. I’ve left feedback with the webmaster that they may want to put a login link on the front page for those of us that toss our cookies every once in a while.

UPDATE: I received an e-mail yesterday thanking me for pointing out the error. There is now a login link on the website.
