If you’re on Dreamhost (and a lot of bloggers are) you may want to read the below story and change your FTP passwords ASAP. It’s the top story on Digg, so I’d imagine not only do hosts know about it, but bad guys do as well. If passwords haven’t been sold yet, they will be soon.
