Food Banks in Trouble

If you ate breakfast this morning be thankful for that and think about those that didn’t have that option. If you think that you can’t give because of high gas and food prices, imagine all of those that make less than you. If you give up $4 lattes for one week, you can provide food for a family for a couple of days.

Obama Presidential Campaign…Not a Great Start

Hey, what’s this shotgun doing…*blam* Ouch! My foot!
–Obama Campaign (repeatedly)
Put me firmly on the side of not understanding why the Obama campaign would opt out of the Federal funding system. Well, I mean I understand why just not why.

Friday Quick Hits

Congrats to the Detroit Red Wings on their Stanley Cup win. Not bad for a bunch of guys that were too old, slow, and European to win the Cup.
I’m having a ton of fun with Political Calculations’ newest tool, Build Your Own Income Tax.  After losing the code to an errant USB drive, they recoded it and it’s [...]

NYT Wakes Up, Finds Evangelicals can be Democrats too

The New York Times had a big story over the weekend about young Evangelicals in St. Louis not being pre-programmed robots for the Republican party. I have no idea what placement it had in the paper, but it was the 10th most e-mailed story yesterday online (I can imagine readers of the Times shock and [...]
