Sorry, Congressman Rangel, but you should go as head of Ways and Means. I know that it means losing the most powerful position in Congress (Pelosi can’t do squat if your committee doesn’t fund it) but when you are caught evading taxes, that’s a problem.

I think the cover of this week’s Economist pretty much sums it up.
If I could read the pure volume of material put out by the newspaper every week, The Economist would easily be worth the cost. Last week’s rant about bringing back the old McCain was also spot on.
