Again, my wife would say the post title is an understatement…

So, there’s another Congressional extramarital affair brewhaha happening in Washington. I’m really not interested in that (though it is the Democrat that took over for Mark Foley in Florida…) as much as amused/scared at some of the details. No, he wasn’t trying to hook up with pages. It’s more the mistress that makes me wonder. Take this detail from Politico:

Friends of Allen told ABC News that Allen sought to break off the affair when she learned Mahoney was allegedly involved in other extra-marital relationships at the same time.

So, she was okay with him cheating on his wife with her, but got huffy because he was sleeping with other women as well? I don’t get that (okay, I don’t get cheating, but whatever). I guess now she’s the hurt party? Guess what, chica, he was a liar and you knew that. It wasn’t right for him to hold the job over you, but that’s your problem for screwing your boss.

I just don’t get it.
