Presidential candidate Fred Thompson has released his tax “and economic” proposal. The reason for the quotations is that the proposal has nary a mention of actual economic proposals other than “cut taxes good, Democrats bad”.

Following up on my article from last week reporting on the Spectator’s article about the Israeli attack on a Syrian facility , the NY Times reported over the weekend that the facility was, in fact, a partially assembled nuclear reactor. The facility was far from the nearly finished facility that Israel bombed in Iraq 25 years ago, but was meant to be a clear message that Israel will not tolerate any nuclear facilities in their backyard.
